(Saturday, May 16, 2015) – Gracie Trotter finished strong taking 2nd place in tonight’s INEX U.S. Legends Cars 40-lap Bandolero race at Concord Speedway. Trotter started in P2 but spun out going into turn one. She restarted in the P2 position and finished just a strong second close behind the leader.
A one of only four girls running in the bandoleros, Gracie Trotter is definitely paving her own way in the field of automotive racing. At only 14-years-old, Gracie already has four years under her belt behind the wheel of a racecar and is poised for strong career ahead of her.
“I’ve loved racing since I was small, “said Gracie. “I’ve been going to racetracks with my dad as long as I can remember and knew that one day I wanted to be the one behind the wheel.”
Now in the middle of the racing season, Trotter is at the middle of the leaderboard of the Junior Rotax division with six more races still left to go before series-end for the 2015 POWERADE Karting Championship at Carolina Motorsports Park at Carolina Motorsports Park.
